据了解，此次撞船事故地点在大苦湖，事故发生后运河交通暂停了一段时间，但并未造成运河的严重的交通拥堵事件。

据海运局透露，载重量为6.5万吨的“LYRIC MAGNOLIA”号货船和载重量为4.4万吨的“ALIGOTE”号货船在大苦湖等待时发生了碰撞，“ALIGOTE”号货船正准备从大苦湖驶往W1海域。

风速的增加导致了这次事故。SCA的海上救援队立即被派往检查两艘船只，没有发现周围有重大损坏或污染。

一份技术报告正在准备中，以便进行全面检查，一旦准备就绪，这些船只将被允许在上午继续航行。

“LYRIC MAGNOLIA”号悬挂巴哈马国旗航行。它正在前往沙特阿拉伯的吉赞，而ALIGOTE悬挂马绍尔群岛旗航行，正前往塞得港。

The SCA reported that the LYRIC MAGNOLIA, with a capacity of 65,000 tons, and the ALIGOTE cargo ship, with a capacity of 44,000 tons, collided while the former was waiting on the hook in the Great Bitter Lake, and the latter was preparing to move from there to area W1.

Increased wind speeds caused the incident.  The SCA’s marine rescue team was immediately dispatched to examine both vessels and found no significant damage or pollution in the surroundings.

A technical report is being prepared for a complete examination, and once it is ready, the ships will be allowed to continue on their journeys in the morning.

The LYRIC MAGNOLIA is sailing under the Bahamian flag.  It is heading towards Jizan in Saudi Arabia, while ALIGOTE is sailing under the Marshall Islands flag and heading to Port Said.

近日，一艘船名为“AVILA”的集装箱船在航行途中遭遇了恶劣天气，船舶航行至距西班牙布斯托角12海里的比斯开湾（Biscay）时船上集装箱落水。

据悉，事故发生时，AVILA轮正从毕尔巴鄂（Bilbao）前往维戈(Vigo)的途中，但在发生集装箱坠海事故后，可能是为了防止船上固定的集装箱堆栈落水，AVILA轮改道前往希洪（Gijon）。

最新消息显示，在AVILA轮丢失集装箱的海域发现了4个40尺漂流集装箱，因此该船至少4个集装箱坠海。

据了解，集装箱船AVILA轮，建造于2007年，运力为887TEU，悬挂葡萄牙旗帜。
