葡萄牙加入船舶回收公约

葡萄牙是最新加入国际海事组织安全环保船舶回收公约——《香港公约》的国家。
该《公约》涵盖船舶的设计、建造、运营和维护,以及在不损害船舶安全和运营效率的情况下促进船舶安全、无害环境回收的准备工作。
根据该条约,被送往回收的船只必须携带针对每艘船的危险材料清单。
船舶拆船厂需要提供船舶拆船计划,根据其具体情况和库存,规定每艘船的拆船方式。
葡萄牙常驻海事组织特命全权大使努诺·布里托先生阁下于3月28日向海事组织秘书长基塔克·林交存了加入文书。
《公约》的20个缔约国*占世界商船总吨位的30.16%。
*比利时、刚果、克罗地亚、丹麦、爱沙尼亚、法国、德国、加纳、印度、日本、卢森堡、马耳他、荷兰王国、挪威、巴拿马、葡萄牙、圣多美和普林西比、塞尔维亚、西班牙和土耳其。

Portugal is the latest country to accede to IMO's treaty for safe and environmentally-sound ship recycling – the Hong Kong Convention. The Convention covers the design, construction, operation and maintenance of ships, and preparation for ship recycling in order to facilitate safe and environmentally sound recycling, without compromising the safety and operational efficiency of ships.
Under the treaty, ships to be sent for recycling are required to carry an inventory of hazardous materials, specific to each ship. Ship recycling yards are required to provide a Ship Recycling Plan, specifying the manner in which each ship will be recycled, depending on its particulars and its inventory.
Portugal's H.E. Mr. Nuno e Brito, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of Portugal to IMO deposited the instrument of accession with IMO Secretary-General Kitack Lim on 28 March.
The 20 Contracting States* to the Convention represent 30.16% of the gross tonnage of the world's merchant shipping.
* Belgium, Congo, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Kingdom of the Netherlands, Norway, Panama, Portugal, Sao Tome and Principe, Serbia, Spain and Türkiye.
