3月1日清晨，“Felicity Ace”号在葡萄牙经济区外约25海里（约46公里）处失去了稳定性并沉没，深度约3000米。

On 1st March, early morning, the ship ‘Felicity Ace’ lost stability as it sank at about 25 nautical miles, equivalent to 46 kilometres, outside the limit of the Economic Zone of Portugal, in an area of which depth is about 3,000 meters.

Some debris and a small stain of oily waste are recorded on the site, which is being dispersed by the water jets of the trailers and which is being monitored by the Department of Pollution of the National Maritime Authority and by European Maritime Security Agency (EMSA).

A push for a Portuguese Air Force C-295 aircraft is also expected. The Navy continues to monitor the situation, namely through the Hydrographic Institute, which keeps the calculations of the drift of the current stain.

“Viana do Castelo”级海上巡逻船“NRP Setúbal”将返回沉没海域，以便利用海军潜水员和污染防治设备(保护/污染的海洋屏障)继续监测情况。

The Viana do Castelo class offshore patrol vessel ‘NRP Setúbal’ will return to the sinking area in order to continue monitoring the situation with navy divers and pollution combat equipment, namely ocean barriers for protection/pollution.

作为一项预防措施，其中一辆运送设备的拖车正在前往Ponta Delgada的路上，以便登上污染防治设备的增援部队。

As a precautionary measure, one of the trailers that were carrying out the equipment is in traffic to Ponta Delgada to board a reinforcement of pollution combat equipment.

去年2月16日，“Felicity Ace”号商船在飞伊尔岛西南方向航行90海里(约170公里)时发生火灾。这22名机组人员已获救，并被安全运送到奥尔塔机场。

The merchant ship “Felicity Ace”, which sailed 90 nautical miles (about 170 km) southwest of Faial Island, suffered a fire on board last February 16. The 22 crew were rescued and transported safely to Horta airport.

MOL Update:

MOL船舶管理(新加坡)更新了关于“Felicity Ace”汽车运输船的情况。当地打捞小组的初步报告称，这艘船在当地时间上午9点左右沉没，船体向右舷倾斜。

MOL Ship Management (Singapore) updates the situation regarding the ‘Felicity Ace’ car carrier. Initial reports from the local salvage team state that the vessel had sunk at around 9 AM local time having suffered a list to starboard.

最后一艘船的位置在亚速尔群岛附近220海里左右。打捞船将留在该地区周围，以监测情况。

The last vessel position was around 220nm off the Azores. The salvage crafts will remain around the area to monitor the situation.
