根据中华人民共和国海事局《关于海船船员培训、考试和发证工作有关事宜的通知》（海船员[2005]416号）的规定，《船员服务簿》签证已不作为行政许可项目，现予取消。因此，中华人民共和国船员所持《船员服务簿》内页说明第三段所述“持有《船员服务簿》的每个船员，应在每二十四个月至三十六个月的期限内，去《船员服务簿》的签发机关办理一次签证。”的规定同时取消。

The third paragraph of “Each holder should, within every 24 to 36 months, complete the endorsement in his “seaman’s record book” at the issuing office.” referred on the inside page of the Seaman’s Record Book of the People’s Republic of China has been deleted in accordance with the Circular on Matters Related to Seafarers Training, Examination and Certification (Circular No.[2005]416) of Maritime Safety Administration of the People’s Republic of China.
